CONSTITUTION: Once a control part receives a instruction for selecting a prescribed disk from a host device, a cartridge moving mechanism 5 rotates as shown by an arrow (a) or (a') by a motor 6 and is set at a prescribed position. To detect the position of this disk, a bar code 11 of, for example, an address is provided to a cartridge storage box 7 and is only read. When the cartridge moving mechanism 5 is positioned as prescribed, a cartrige holder 8 in the cartridge moving mechanism 5 moves into the cartridge storage box 7 to clamp a cartridge 9.
