Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a compact and light-weight automatic gun for a fastening piece for winding a flexible plastic fastening piece around a bundle like a cable.
CONSTITUTION: The automatic gun for a fastening piece includes an index device 30 for advancing a strip of the fastening piece, a device for cutting an initial fastening piece from the strip, a device provided at a front end of the gun for guiding a tail of the fastening piece for engaging a free end of the tail with a head of the tail, and a gate 34.
