PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide this automatic regulation seal to properly cope with needs, such as a tendency for reduction of size, and prevent leakage of fluid as much as possible through the automatic change of a gap for a seal.
SOLUTION: An energizing force is exerted on a moving seal ring 5, radially externally energized during the starting and the stop of a rotary body, through the force of a waveform spring 6 arranged on the inner peripheral side of the moving seal ring 5. The moving seal ring is positioned by a guide device arranged in a central position in a peripheral direction, and radially internally pressed by working fluid during rated operation to regulate the seal and formed in a compact manner. Seal structure forming a narrow space as an installation place is applicable for a tip seal for a moving vane and a static vane especially demanded for reduction of size.
