Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FEEDING WETTING WATER INTO OFFSET PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3358995
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of defective printed matters as much as possible when the printing speed is varied in an offset printer, particularly when the printing speed at the start of printing and the completion of printing is increased or decreased.
SOLUTION: When the printing speed is increased, the wetting water feed amount is program-controlled based on a first curve C1 showing the relation of increasing wetting water feed amount to the printing speed, and when the printing speed is decreased, the wetting water feed amount is program controlled by a second curve C2 different from the first curve showing the relation of decreasing the wetting water feed amount with the printing speed of a plate cylinder, and whether the printing speed is beyond S3 or not is judged, based on the result thereof, the decision of whether the wetting water feed amount at the time of decreasing the speed is program-controlled by the first curve C1, or by the second curve C2 is effected by changing over automatically.
