PURPOSE: To automatically output a shipment command document and to sharply reduce cost required for physical distribution by executing first-in first-out inventory management only by inputting the data of ordered contents from a business department without being helped by a physical distribution section to deliver articles of optimum quality for users.

CONSTITUTION: This automatic article shipment command system has a means for selecting one or plural shipping places by using the sort of ordered contents and a user as keys, an inventory information retrieving means for reading out position files sorted in each of places, sorts and days and retrieving shipping places in the priority order, a means for restricting the number of selected shipping places and subtracting the ordered number of articles from the number of inventories, and a shipping command output means for outputting a shipment command document from a terminal equipment.
