PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic spill valve suitable for a costant mass flow type half-closed self-respiratory diving unit capable of putting respiratory resistance and buoyancy under an optimal condition by easily adjusting valve opening pressure in diving by a diver by her/himself.
SOLUTION: This automatic spill valve installed so as to penetrate through an opening arranged in a respiratory bag B, the automatic spill valve is provided with a body 1 for arranging a valve seat 14 on the outer diameter side more than plural outlets 6 faced in the respiratory bag B and arranging a female screw 10 on the peripheral wall inside, a valve element 2 for outer-peripherally projecting a seat part 22 for contacting with and separating from the valve seat 14, a pressure adjusting screw 3a positioned in the downstream of the valve seat 14 and having in an outer diameter part male screw 30 for threadedly engaging with the female screw 10 of the body 1, a dial 4 rotatably fitted around the body 1 and having a check valve 4a on a top wall, a ring 3b integrally rotatably joined to the dial 4 and transmitting rotation to the pressure adjusting screw 3a and a pressure adjusting spring 5 supported on a disk-like support seat 31 of the pressure adjusting screw 3a for energizing the valve element 2 to the closing side.
