Abstract:
To provide an automatic stop control device for securing the opportunities of automatically stopping an internal combustion engine.
An ECU 38 detects the presence or not of a travel history of a vehicle after starting the engine 2 and erases information about the presence of the travel history when preset stopping conditions are not established. Herein, the ECU 38 holds the presence of a previous travel history when the information about the presence of the travel history is erased. The ECU 38 allows the automatic stop of the engine 2 if there is the information about the presence of the travel history or if there is the information about the presence of the previous travel history when the stopping conditions are established.
