To provide an electric appliance for removing poisonous chemical substance by automatically drying spent and wetted tea leaves and circulating the air in a room in the appliance.

The mechanism of this invention jointly has a function for drying spent and wetted tea leaves and a function for circulating air and adsorbing poisonous substances. Namely, the tea leaves are put in a tea leaf drying drum, agitated and heated with a heater, and the drying of the wetted tea leaves in the drum is started by the heated air through driving an air blowing fan. The heating and drying are monitored by a humidity sensor and a temperature sensor, and the whole process is monitored by an electronic controller. Fresh air is introduced into the machine and discharged from the machine. Meanwhile, the air is brought into contact with the tea leaves in the appliance, and the poisonous substances are adsorbed on the tea leaves.
