PURPOSE: To improve the degree of use by automating a transfer gate and utilizing the automatic ticket examination machine for local lines by fetching one-leaf ticket or two-leaf ticket and ejecting the train ticket of an Edmonson ticket (conventional type ticket).

CONSTITUTION: When a user inserts one-leaf or two-leaf ticket to a ticket inserting port 13, the inserted ticket is fetched inside, and a first reading head 16 reads ticket data magnetically recorded on the ticket. Next, a ticket issue part 18 issues one Edmonson ticket, the ticket is sent into a conveying line 15, next, ticket data required as the train ticket of the local line are written from the ticket data already read from one-leaf or two-leaf ticket by a writing head 19 and afterwards, a write state is checked by reading those written data with a second reading head 20. Further, the train ticket for local line of the Edmonson type ticket is formed by thermally printing visible data on the surface of the ticket while using a printing head 21, and this Edmonson ticket is ejected to a ticket ejecting port 14.
