Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform ticket examination processing in the case that passengers cannot pass gates because many automatic ticket examination machines have fallen into the abnormal state.
SOLUTION: When receiving a state change report text from each automatic ticket examination machine through an interface 15, a CPU 10 preserves the reported state change in a memory 13 as state information on each automatic ticket examination machine and reads-in the latest state information of all automatic ticket examination machines from the memory 13 per prescribed unit and discriminates whether each automatic ticket examination machine is in the normal, abnormal, or recoverable abnormal state in accordance with state information on all automatic ticket examination machines and abnormality discrimination information preliminarily set in the memory 13 and calculates discrimination result information to preserve it in the memory 13 and compares the number of normally operating machines as the discrimination result with a minimally required number of operating machines which is preliminarily set in the memory 13. In the case of (the minimally required number of operating machines)>(the number of normally operating machines), normality recovery processing of automatic ticket examination machines being in the recoverably abnormal state is performed on the basis of discrimination result information preserved in the memory 13.
