Abstract:
To provide an automotive member having excellent corrosion resistance after coating, and to provide an Al-plated steel sheet for hot press.
The automotive member having excellent corrosion resistance and an Al-plated steel sheet for hot press are characterized in that the surface of a steel having specified steel components and martensite occupying 90 vol.% of the steel is provided with an Al-Fe intermetallic compound layer composed of a plurality of phases, the surface thereof is further provided with an oxide film having a thickness of 0.05 to 1 m, and the grain boundary between the Al-Fe intermetallic compound layer and the steel is provided with a bcc layer containing Al and having a thickness of 2.5 to 10 m.
