To provide a washing system for electrodeposition coating wherein a workpiece W is excellently washed to improve the recovery rate of an excess coating material.
A first UF (ultrafiltration) means 3 for introducing and filtering a coating material in an electrodeposition bath A is provided, and multistage washing units 11a-11c each comprising a spray unit 15 for shower-washing a material W to be washed after the electrodeposition coating and a recovery tank 12 for recovering a liquid after shower are arranged in the rear of the electrodeposition bath A. The final stage washing unit 11c is spray-washed with a filtrate from the first UF means 3 and other washing units 11a and 11b are provided with units UF means 16a and 16b for filtering the liquid in recovery tanks 12a, 12b to apply spray washing. A recovered liquid overflowing from the recovery tank 12a of the front-most stage washing unit 11a is supplied to the electrodeposition tank A and a recovered liquid overflowing from the recovery tanks 12b, 12c of the washing units 11b, 11c of other stages are supplied to the recovery tanks of the former stage, respectively.
