PURPOSE: To prevent oil in an oil pump from leaking and the auxiliaries from projecting outward, and minimize the number of bearings in an auxiliary driving shaft by disposing a water pump and the oil pump at a part of oil pan, and driving them with a single auxiliary driving shaft.
CONSTITUTION: Auxiliaries such as a water pump 13, an oil pump 14 are disposed at a recessed part which is formed at the side part of an oil pan 4 on the lower part of an engine 1, and they are driven by an auxiliary driving shaft 10 which goes through the oil pan 4. With this constitution, the water pump 13 and the oil pump 14 are installed so that the oil pump 14 may be positioned at the inner side of the oil pan 4 and the water pump 13 may be positioned at the outer side of the oil pan 4, and connected to the same auxiliary driving shaft 10.
