To prevent trouble such as assembling failure while accurately maintaining a core of an auxiliary bearing at the time of sport-welding the auxiliary bearing to a body casing of a sealed vessel by forming at least one slit for releasing the stress deflection at the time of welding in the auxiliary bearing of a scroll compressor.
An auxiliary bearing 6A is formed with three slits 62, 62, 63 from the periphery 61 abutting on the inner wall of a barrel casing toward a core with 120 degree of angle in relation to the core. The auxiliary bearing 6A of a scroll compressor is spot-welded to the body casing in the periphery at positions between each slit 62. At the time of welding the auxiliary bearing 6A to the body casing, the stress deflection thereof can be released to each slit 62. With this structure, the core of the auxiliary bearing 6A can be accurately maintained without generating the deformation or inclination of the auxiliary bearing 6A, and trouble such as assembling failure, increase of power consumption and generation of noise can be prevented.
