PURPOSE: To provide an auxiliary refrigerated air system for turbine engine compressor, which produces a low temp. or cooled air at a sufficiently low temp. and in a sufficient quantity to meet likely demand in future through combination of the mixture air consisting of the air from an appropriate source such as bled from the compressor and the air recirculating within the system.

CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary system comprises the first 50 and the second aux. turbine element 52 in tandem arrangement, an air mixing valve 54, air flow dividing valve 55, air recirculating loop 56, aux. air compressor 58, and heat- exchanger 60.
