Abstract:
To solve a problem that a stall is caused when an angle of incidence is increased up to a specified angle and efficiency of an axial fan is significantly reduced in conventional axial fan blades.
The fan has a base, a hub 200, and a plurality of blade units 202. The hub is attached to the base or rotated around it to support the units. Each unit is connected to the external surface of the hub to be extended outwardly in a radial direction from the base and has a plurality of segment blades. A segment space 206 between the blades improves the boundary layer of a fluid passing the blades and reduces the thickness of the layer on the blade surface.
