The axle box supporting device 11 of a bogie for a railway vehicle is constituted such that a roll rubber 5a attaining load burden in a longitudinal direction, a left/right direction and a vertical direction of the vehicle relative to an advancement direction of the vehicle and displacement in the vertical direction is arranged on an upper surface of the axle box 2 to connect the axle box 2 to a side beam 1, and the side beam 1 and the axle box 2 are bonded by one link 4 interposed with rubber bushings 3a, 3b at both ends. The link 4 is installed below an axis of the axle rotatably supported by the axle box 2. As a result, bending of the side beam can be increased and a floor surface of the vehicle can be lowered, thereby, difference of height of a platform of a station can be reduced or be made coincident with it.
