To shorten an intake passage by making the intake passage for connecting an engine to an air cleaner in the linear state as much as possible, and to attain reduction of intake resistance by enlarging a passage area.
The engine 12 having an approximately erected cylinder assembly 14 is mounted on a front half part of a vehicle body frame 2, and an inversion type rear cushion unit 21 is arranged behind the engine 12 at the approximately erected attitude. The air cleaner is arranged behind the rear cushion unit 21 and below a sitting seat 19, an intake port 16 opened to a rear part of the cylinder assembly 14 and the air cleaner 22 are connected by the intake passage, and the intake passage 23 (connecting pipe 27) is arranged such that it is overlapped on an upper part of the rear cushion unit 21 in vehicle side view. A cross section shape of the connecting pipe 27 is made to a vertical-long shape that a vertical axis dimension H is larger than a lateral axis dimension W.
