Abstract:
To improve measurement precision of backlash of a ring gear and a drive pinion.
This measuring device 100 for measuring backlash of the ring gear stored in a differential case 200 and the drive pinion has a main body 110, a dial 140, a handle 150, a claw 170 for fixing a side gear 210 to the differential case 200 by pressing to rotate the side gear 210 stored in the differential case 200 and the differential case 200 integrally, a drive pinion rotation inhibit part for inhibiting rotation of the drive pinion, a rotary part 160 for rotating the fixed side gear 210, and a dial gage 130 for detecting amount of rotation of the ring gear.
