Abstract:
To provide a backlight device facilitating taking in and out of a reflector, making a replacement work more efficient, and having restrained dispersion in optical characteristics after an assembly.
In the backlight device 1 made by housing a light guide plate 4 inside a case 2 structured by combining a first frame 2a and a second frame 2b each having a housing space made of side walls, and inserting a reflector 6 storing a light source 7 from an insertion hole 8 fitted to the case 2 between a side face of the light guide plate 4 and a side wall of the case 2, a reflector guide 11 is protruded at the side wall of the case 2 having a slanted face 11b slanted in a direction of the insertion hole 8.
