Abstract:
To provide a backlight unit capable of adjusting the colors of the light supplied by a light source part.
The backlight unit comprises a light source part, including a point light source, an optical fiber 71 receiving light from the light source part, a photosensor 75 sensing colors from light transmitted from the optical fiber 71, a light source drive part 85 supplying a power source to the light source part, and a light source control part 81 controlling the light source driving part 85 so as to supply light of a color required by the light source part, based on the color sensed by the photosensor 75.
