To provide a balancing device of a liftable deck capable of inexpensively and safely performing lifting and lowering operation.
The balancing device keeps a horizontal balance of the liftable deck 1 lifted or lowered by a lift car 2, and comprises: pulleys 11, 12 mounted at one end part of the liftable deck 1; pulleys 13, 14 mounted at the other end part of the liftable deck 1; and balancing wires 7, 8, whose one end parts are connected to a hull fixing structure below the liftable deck 1, and the other end parts are connected to the hull fixing structure above the liftable deck 1, which are extended by being spanned between upper parts of the pulleys 11, 12 at one end part and lower parts of the pulleys 13, 14 at the other end part so as to keep the horizontal balance of the liftable deck 1.
