The bearing arrangement 1 for a turbocharger includes a pair of the angular contact ball bearings 2a, 2b, and the ball bearings 2a, 2b have a rotary shaft side inner ring 3 having a pair of inner ring raceways 3a, 3a separated in an axial direction of a rotary shaft 32, a pair of outer rings 4, 4 in a housing side having outer ring raceways 4a, 4a facing the inner ring raceways 3a, 3a, and a plurality of balls 5 interposed so as to freely roll in a zero or positive clearance state between the inner ring raceways 3a, 3a and the outer ring raceways 4a, 4a. By providing a pressing member 10 thermally expanding during high temperature and pressing the outer ring 4 of one angular contact ball bearing 2a toward an other angular contact ball bearing side 2b in the axial direction, even if the rotary shaft 32 is thermally expanded due to temperature rise, a clearance of the angular contact ball bearings 2a, 2b is maintained.
