Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a snap cage of one of ball bearings from coming in contact with balls of the other ball bearing when the plurality of ball bearings are stacked in the axial direction.SOLUTION: A ball bearing includes an outer ring 20 having a raceway surface 21 formed on its inner periphery, an inner ring 30 having a raceway surface 31 formed on its outer periphery, a plurality of balls 40 rolling on both raceway surfaces, and a snap cage 50 made of a resin and rotatably holding the plurality of balls 40. The snap cage 50 includes an annular portion 52 disposed at one axial-direction side with respect to the plurality of balls 40, and a plurality of pairs of claws 51 axially extended to a side of the plurality of balls 40 with respect to the annular portion 52, and spaced in the circumferential direction. Axial widths of the outer ring 20 and the inner ring 30 are shortened, the annular portion 52 of the snap cage is projected to one axial-direction side from an end face at one axial-direction side of the outer ring 20, and a projecting amount from the end face at one axial-direction side of the outer ring 20 to an end face at one axial-direction side of the annular portion 52, is smaller than a recessing amount from an end face at the other axial-direction side of the outer ring 20 to the balls 40.
