Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve insertion performance at a time of inserting a steam pipe tube into a tubular heat insulation member.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a heat insulation flexible hose 1 for a steam pipe is disclosed. A pressure resistant flexible hose 3 for a steam pipe that includes a synthetic resin inner pipe 31 and a braided layer 32 braided on an outer circumference of the inner pipe 31 is manufactured in a first step. A tubular heat insulation member 2 including a non-foamed silicon rubber inner layer 21 and a foamed silicon rubber heat insulation layer 22 formed integrally on an outer circumference of the inner layer 21 is manufactured in a second step. In a third step, the flexible hose 3 is inserted into a hollow portion of the tubular heat insulation member 2 to integrate the flexible hose 3 with the tubular heat insulation member 2, thereby obtaining the heat insulation flexible hose 1 for the steam pipe. A reinforcement braided layer 23 may be provided on an outer circumference of the heat insulation layer 22.
