Title:
BALL ERASER GENERATING NO ERASURE WASTE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01262197
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of erasing waste, by a method wherein the fine particles and large particles on the surface of a sphere get into the sphere while taking-in graphite particles and continuously erase a character under mixing.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for mounting a ball erasure 6 generating no erasing waste is constituted so that a dome-shaped ball holder 7 having flexibility is fixed to a case main body 10 formed from a ball extruder 11, a compression spring 13 and a cap 14, and the case main body 10 mounts the ball eraser 6 in the ball adapter 7. A proper amount of fine particles 1 and large particles 2, which are made of an erasing substance, and a fiber 4 are mixed with a viscous resin 3 and the resulting mixture is formed into a sphere having proper hardness and viscosity as well as an appropriate size to form the ball eraser 6 and, when this ball erase 6 is rubbed against a character, the fine particles 1 and large particles 2 made of an erasing substance present on the surface of the sphere generate surface movement while taking-in the graphite particles forming the character to complicatedly knead said graphite with the ball eraser 6 generating no erasing waste and continuous erasing action can be performed.
