Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint nozzle which enables a nozzle which jets a combustion gas to the outside to be swung through a spherical slide surface and can significantly reduce or eliminate operation failure and seal failure of the slide surface.SOLUTION: A ball joint nozzle includes: a nozzle fixing part 12 fixed to an opening 2a having a center set to a device axis 2b of a motor case 2; and a nozzle moving part 20 which is swingably attached to the nozzle fixing part 12. The nozzle fixing part 12 has: a spherical fixed slide surface R1 which obliquely extends to the radial inner side and has a center set to a swing center O on the device axis; and a spherical fixed seal surface S1 which is located at the downstream side of the fixed slide surface R1 and has a center set to the swing center O. The nozzle moving part 20 has: a spherical movable slide surface R2 which slides on the fixed slide surface R1 and has a center set to the swing center O; and a spherical movable seal surface S2 which is located at the downstream side or the upstream side of the fixed seal surface S1 and has a center set to the swing center O.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
