Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in the size, and to reduce intake sound.SOLUTION: A housing 11 of an air cleaner 10 includes: a case 20 having a peripheral wall 23, a bottom wall 24, and an introduction passage 26; and a cap 40 having a peripheral wall 43, a bottom wall 44, and a lead-out passage 46. A filter element 50 has a filtering part 51 provided between an opening 22 of the case 20 and an opening 42 of the cap 40 facing the opening 22. The case 20 includes: a case body 21 formed of a resin molding, and having the peripheral wall 23 and the bottom wall 24, and a recession 27 formed by inwardly recessing a part of the peripheral wall 23 and the bottom wall 24; and a fiber molding 30 fixed to the peripheral wall 23 and the bottom wall 24, covering the recession 27 from the outer side, and forming a part of a side wall of the introduction passage 26 together with the recession 27. A communication hole 271 communicating an inside of the case body 21 with the introduction passage 26 is formed in the recession 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
