Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ball point pen refill capable of achieving clear handwriting in the same smooth writing feeling as a water ball-point pen and with no defects of ball falling off due to impacts or ink leakage from its tip end in a knocking type ball point pen to be carried with its tip turned downward.
SOLUTION: A ball point pen refill houses ink 2 with shearing attenuating viscosity and an ink follower 3 in an ink reservoir cylinder, and it is also provided with a ball point pen tip 4 formed at its tip end orifice 1a so as to repulse a ball at all times against the inner wall face of a tip end peripheral riveted part 4b by means of a coil spring 7 directly or via a press member, and a tail plug 5 having ventilating means fitted at its rear end, and further a bulkhead part 1e having an ink flow groove 1d in communication with an ink reservoir part 1c and extending in an axial direction is formed on the rearward position from the fitting part 4a of a ball point pen tip fitted in a tip end hole 1a of the ink reservoir cylinder.
