Abstract:
To provide a ball spline capable of preventing the generation of large compression deformation in a cage during a temperature rise and achieving a smooth stroke of the spline.
An outer cylinder body 21 and the cage 22 are positioned by fitting a tip of a positioning member 23 inserted to the outer cylinder body 21 from the radial outer side to a positioning recess 32 provided on the outer peripheral face of the cage 22. A clearance having a size corresponding to a difference of a linear expansion coefficient between the metallic outer cylinder body 21 and the cage 22 formed of synthetic resin is formed between the positioning member 23 and the positioning recess 32.
