To provide a ball valve equipped with a piping structure for blocking and bleeding capable of appropriately preventing leakage of fluid to a downstream side.
The ball valve 1 is equipped with a valve main body 2 provided in the middle of a flow passage 50 allowing the fluid 60 to pass therethrough, and a spherical rotary body 4 provided in the valve main body 2, rotatable to an opening position for securing the flow passage 50 and to a closing position for shutting off the flow passage 50. The ball valve 1 is also equipped with a bleed groove 6 formed over the entire outer peripheral face on the upstream side of the rotary body 4 in the closing position, a discharge hole 7 formed to penetrate the valve main body 2 and communicated with the bleed groove 6 with the rotary body 4 in the closing position, and a bleed structure 8 for preventing leakage of the fluid 60 from the upstream side to the downstream side.
