To provide a correction pen concealable in a procedure for writing by a ballpoint pen even characters written with an aqueous ink or an oily ink without necessity of an agitating or pressurizing operation.
The ink obtained by adding a gelatinizing agent to a pigment, an organic solvent and a film formable resin of indispensable components to suppress a precipitation of a white pigment and regulating to a viscosity of the degree not to have an obstacle to writing is filled in an ink cylinder 1 connected to a ballpoint pen chip 3 rotatably holding a tip ball 4 through a joint 2. Then, a grease-like ink follower 5 is arranged at a rear end of the ink. As the organic solvent of the ink, a mixture of one or more types of an aliphatic hydrocarbon, a halogenated hydrocarbon, a naphthene hydrocarbon and a paraffin hydrocarbon is used.
