To provide a novel bar support for high jump suitable for use as an officially recognized athletic ground by avoiding vertical movement of a pole which is not permitted as well as being suitable of use in an athletic ground for school and general public successively used by a large number of people by improving a hooking/securing means of the bar support for high jump to avoid swaying, allowing the pole to be simply moved from a position of securing and resecured and strongly secured in a position of securing.
The bar support for high jump is composed of a frame body installed on a pole 1 movable in upward and downward directions with a support part 6 formed of an end part provided with a bar platform 4 of a flat surface to the top end part of a main body 5 and a cover part 3 formed of two molded bodies at the other end part, and a securely fastening member formed by opposing two fixing plates 13 pieced by pole inserting holes 15, 16 and provided with a pushbutton 11, providing a short spring 20 between the fixing plates 13, 13 placed on the end part facing to each other towards the top end part of the fixing plate, a thin pipe 30 penetrating between the plates toward the end part and a spring 40 interposed between the pipe between the plates. A protrusion 7 fitting a groove 2 of the pole is provided on the side frame wall of the molded bodies constituting the frame body.
