Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure such a bar work device that is able to promote the simplification of operations, and high in vibration-isolating effectiveness with simple structure.
SOLUTION: This bar work device is provided with a collet chuck 8 holding the tip part of a bar W to be machined, and equipped with a spindle 6 rotating the bar W at high speed, and has a hollow pipe 10 being concentrically set up with the collet chuck 8, and extending rearward in the bar feeding direction from the vicinity of the collet chuck 8 upon piercing the through the spindle 6. The hollow pipe 10 is formed with a first bar passage 12 opening both the ends, and having the size of an inner diameter wherein an oil layer is produced around a peripheral surface of the bar W by rotation of the bar W stored inside, and further it is provided with an oil filler hole opening toward the inside of the hollow pipe 10, and an oil feeding means for feeding the oil filler hole with oil, respectively.
