PURPOSE: To provide a base-less bulb device having the capability of being mounted and demounted on and from a circuit board without any turning operation, as well as being electrically connected to the board without using any specific electrical contactor.
CONSTITUTION: A flange 13 is formed around a cylindrical socket body 11 having a lamp insertion hole 12 at one end for inserting a base-less bulb 1. The socket body 11 is provided with elastically deformable catch teeth 25 for clamping a circuit board 30 with the flange 13, and leads 5 and 5 from the bulb 1 are wired along the upper surface of the flange 13. As a result, when a base-less bulb device is inserted straight in the circuit board, the teeth 15 is elastically deformed, and clamp the circuit board 30 with the upper surface of the flange 13. In this case, the leads 5 and 5 wired on the upper surface of the flange 13 come in contact with the feeder terminal of the circuit board 30.
