PURPOSE: To regenerate the electrocardiogram which is recorded for a long period with reference to the base line whose fluctuation is suppressed, by installing a high speed digital filter which cuts off the low frequency components corresponding to the fluctuation of the base line over a number of orders at a high speed in the electrocardiogram wave form.
CONSTITUTION: A Holter electrocardiograph regenerator 1 which receives the electrocardiogram data recorded on a Holter electrocardiograph recorder HM outputs the data at a high speed through multichannels. In each channel an A/D converter 2 is provided, which converts the analogue signal corresponding to the electrocardiogram wave form recorded over a long period to digital signal and outputs said signal. A high speed digital filter 3 is connected with the output side of the A/D converter 2. The high speed digital filter 3 receives the high speed digital signal corresponding to the recorded electrocardiogram wave form supplied from the A/D converter 2 and cuts off the low frequency component corresponding to the fluctuation of the base line of the electrocardiogram wave form over a number of orders at a high speed, and outputs the remaining wave form component of the electrocardiogram is the form of the digital signal having the linear phase characteristic.
