Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a base plate for producing three-dimensional fibrous texture so designed that many pins are stood at a specified pitch and easy to remove, and also sufficiently durable to the tension of yarns arranged in a folded way.
CONSTITUTION: The base plate is made up of a frame 2 and a plate 3 to be engaged into and fixed to the frame 2. This frame 2 is provided with holes 4 in a row to stand pins into at a specified pitch. The material for the frame 2 is a metal for structural materials such as stainless steel or a rigid material such as a ceramic; while the material for the plate 3 is a flexible material such as an expanded resin.
