Abstract:

To provide a base station device equipped with an array antenna that can obtain a path diversity gain and reduces an arithmetic amount for estimating an arrival direction so as to reduce the scale of the device.

RAKE synthesis sections 104-1-104-n synthesize signals arriving through each of first path - m-th path by each antenna so as to generate a signal including multiple components denoting a phase rotation amount for respective antennas. Each arrival direction estimate section 105 provided per communication terminal obtains one angular spectrum from signals generated by the RAKE synthesis sections 104-1-104-n and estimates arrival directions altogether by detecting multiple peak positions of the angular spectrum.
