Abstract:
To provide a base station system, capable of storing a plurality of baseband units without expanding gateway devices, even when the plurality of baseband units which store a plurality of distributed base stations are required.
The plurality of baseband units 12-1 to 12-m are stored by line concentration parts 11-1, 11-2 with Ethernet switches. The line concentration parts 11-1, 11-2 take redundant configurations, and when abnormal conditions occur on one line concentration part which transmits IP packets, the other line concentration part is switched from the one line concentration part so as to transmit the IP packets.
