To provide a bathtub apparatus which can be used together with a bathtub and enables a bather to exercise in a relaxed state.
The bathtub apparatus 1 is provided with a bathtub 2, an upper body swing means 3 for swinging the upper body of a bather M, a hip swing means 4 for swinging the hip of the bather M, and a foot joint turning means 5 for turning the feet of the bather M around the foot joint. A part of the upper body swing means 3 is arranged on the back side face 2a of the bathtub 2, a part of the hip swing means 4 is arranged on a bottom surface 2c, and a part of the foot joint turning means 5 is arranged on the foot side face 2b of the bathtub 2. Then, when the upper body swing means 3, the hip swing means 4 and the foot joint turning means 5 are linked to change the bathing posture of the bather M, the posture of the bather M becomes unbalanced. Thus, the bather M is made to perform a compensating action and exercise.
