To conduct a purifying operation without using a reserving means by sensing a bathing starting time, and altering a circulating flow rate to a maximum by a circulating flow rate altering means after a predetermined time at the time as a starting point.
At a bathing starting time, bathtub water is heated by an equipment installed separately. When a temperature detecting means 5 detects that a hot water temperature becomes about 37°C or higher, start of bathing can be sensed. At this time point as a starting point, about six hours and 30min later is regarded as being a time after the bathing is finished. A circulating flow rate altering means 3 maximizes the circulating flow rate for about 30min. Thus, the bathtub water contaminated by the bathing is rapidly purified and sterilized. After the bathing, it is rapidly sterilized, and hence bacteria can be sterilized with high effectiveness before they are bred.
