Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance mass-productivity, battery characteristics, and safety without generation of a spark in a production process by inclining and focusing a current collector exposed part of an electrode on one side in which a positive or negative active material is filled of a spiral electrode by a swelled-out part and a spacer made of an insulator, and performing strong pressure-contact against a projection formed in a dish plate. SOLUTION: An opening 1a of a battery container 1 is crimp-sealed with a sealing member B by bending inward the opening 1a through an insulating gasket 11, and a swelled-out part 1b projecting in the center axis direction is formed directly under the battery container 1 of the crimp-sealed part so that the width of a horizontal part for supporting the insulating gasket 11 becomes about 0.7 mm. A current collector exposed part 2a of a positive active material sheet of a spiral electrode is inclined and focused in the inner diameter direction by a swelled-out part 1b and a spacer 12 made of insulating synthetic resin, and strong pressure-contact is performed against a projection 9b formed in a dish plate 9.
