Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case in which, even if the battery case is exposed to fire while a duct is not attached, a battery in the battery case may be easily protected from fire without allowing flame or the like to enter into the battery case through an opening through which a refrigerant passes.SOLUTION: A battery case includes: a case body receiving a battery therein while having an opening 60 communicated with an internal space of a duct when the duct is attached, the duct guiding a refrigerant cooling the battery; and a shutter mechanism 70 which is operated to open the opening 60 when air is flowing in the duct in a state that the duct is attached to the case body, and which is operated to close the opening 60 when the duct is removed from the case body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
