Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery control device preventing drop in electric power inputted/outputted to from a battery caused by the fall of temperature by effectively raising the temperature of the battery avoiding hazardous effects caused by adding components.
SOLUTION: When the battery temperature falls, if SOC is less than 50%, charging and discharging of the battery are repeated within a range of 30-40%, and if SOC exceeds 50%, charging and discharging are repeated within a range of 50-60%, and by repeating charging and discharging in short cycles, the temperature of the battery is raised.
