Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correctly determining the deterioration of a battery, and a lighting apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus, including a solar cell P and a battery B charged by the solar cell P at daytime, to which power is supplied from the battery P to a lamp load L for lighting at night, includes: an overcharge determination unit 11 and an overdischarge determination unit 12 for detecting an overcharge state and an overdischarge state of the battery, respectively, on the basis of a terminal voltage Vb of the battery B; and a deterioration determination unit 13 for determining the deterioration of the battery B by the detection of both of the overcharge state and the overdischarge state of the battery B during a day on the basis of the terminal voltage Vb of the battery B.
