Title:
BATTERY DRIVING GEAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04251595
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a battery driver which enables avoidance of the power supply interrupt, caused by a short-circuit or a circuit cut-off. CONSTITUTION: A battery driver includes a DC motor (22) and a battery (9) consisting of a plurality of cells (10, 11 and 12), which are connected in series as well as a 2-pole switching device (23) having a 1st switch (24) and a 2nd switch (25). As a small battery voltage which is obtained through a middle tap (17) is applied to the DC motor (22) through the 1st switch (24), and when the 2nd switch (25) is closed, a full battery voltage which is obtained through an end tap (15) is applied to the DC motor, and the DC motor can be driven at two revolutions. Further, a means, which avoids a short-circuit between the middle tap (17) and the end tap (15) of a battery (9) when the 2nd switch (25) is closed, is provided. By the switches (24 and 25), switching which is essentially free of superposition can be realized.
