Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measure for varying time intervals for estimating a battery liquid temperature, determine rise timing of a battery liquid temperature estimation device on the basis of a change in a peripheral temperature of the battery, reduce power consumption, and minimize an estimation error of the battery liquid temperature.SOLUTION: The battery liquid temperature estimation device for estimating a liquid temperature of a battery mounted on a vehicle, includes: temperature detection means for detecting the peripheral temperature of the battery; battery liquid temperature estimation means for estimating the battery liquid temperature on the basis of the peripheral temperature of the battery detected by the temperature detection means; and estimation timer determination means for determining time intervals for estimating the battery liquid temperature next on the basis of the change in the peripheral temperature of the battery detected by the temperature detection means. The battery liquid temperature is estimated at a time determined by the estimation timer determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
