Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection apparatus capable of detecting an angle of an output shaft highly accurately.SOLUTION: A rotation angle detection apparatus includes: an output shaft 11; an absolute encoder 18 for measuring an angle of the output shaft 11; gears 16, 17 for increasing speeds of the absolute encoder 18; a reference part 21 disposed on an output shaft lower portion 13 of the output shaft 11; a camera 30 for detecting the reference part 21; and angle detection means for detecting a first angle of the output shaft from a position of the reference part 21 in a field of vision of the camera 30, when power is turned on. Further, the absolute encoder 18 measures an angle of the output shaft 11 using the first angle as a reference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
