Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the short-circuiting time of a switch necessary to perform the disconnection diagnosis of a voltage detection line and reduce power losses.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device 1 comprises: a pair of voltage detection lines L1, L0 each connected to the positive and negative electrodes of a cell BC1, and a pair of voltage measurement lines SL1, SL0 each connected thereto; a pair of adjustment lines SW1, SW0 each connected to the pair of voltage detection lines L1, L0 in parallel to the voltage measurement lines SL1, SL0; and a balancing switch BSW1 connected between the pair of adjustment lines SW1, SW0. The disconnection of the voltage detection line L0 is diagnosed on the basis of the voltage between the pair of adjustment lines SW1, SW0.
