Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bayonet coupling for low temperature fluid to prevent freezing of a seal part and grease when this coupling is attached to a vacuum vessel through a mounting flange and ensure flexibility of first and second heat insulation pipes.
SOLUTION: At least a mounting flange 31 is formed of a high heat conduction material, such as copper and aluminum. This coupling comprises a first heat insulation pipe 2; a second heat insulation pipe 3 fitted in the first heat insulation pipe 2; a mounting flange 31 to mount either the first heat insulation pipe 2 or the second heat insulation pipe 3 to the mounting hole 9 of a vacuum vessel 8; and a seal member 4 to seal a gap between the first and second heat insulation pipes 2 and 3.
